Let’s Craft for profit! Today I will show you an easy way to craft items and sell them gold.

First things first, buy one of the following recipes and plans.

“Asheara’s Bindings”

“Aughild’s Treasured”

“Born’s Aegis”

“Cain’s Honor”

“Captain Crimson’s Attire”

“Demon’s Carapace”

“Guardian’s Regalia”

“Sage’s Wisdom”

First of all you need to buy one of these plans. Once you get pattern it is time to craft few items. Do not worry you won’t have to craft 50 items to get one good item or just to make your gold back. 5. Hit search

For example if your item has 78 Resist All and 100 Vitality then you search for 100 Vitality and 70 Resist All

6. Now it is the time to decide the price. Remember that you want to craft item and sell for normal amount of gold. Why? Mostly because you should sell it as fast as you can so you can sell more. Check out prices of the most similar items to yours and price it for 50%-80%.

Keep in mind that you need to make more then you’ve spend on crafting.

How Much Stat Is Enough to Sell Item for 100 000 000?

As you know items in Diablo 3 have “max limits” for every stat. For example every max stats for Helms are:

- 300 Intellect
- 200 Strength
- 200 Dexterity
- 200 Vitality

As you can see Hemls can have 100 additional Intellect points. And here is very important thing especially if you want to sell items on the Auction House.

For example:

I want to buy underpiced items to sell tehm for more. Let’s say that I’ve found three hemls for the same price. One has 200 Dexterity second one 200 Strength and third has 200 Intellect. Which one should I buy to flip?

Well the answer is the one with thew max stat of 200 Strength. You do not want to invest money in Helm with 200 Intellect because it is only 66% of max stat. Do you understand what I am talking about?

Couple days ago I was searching the Internet for something nice for my blog and found this great post. It is an experiment about crafting. Check out the source of the test here

The crafting materials used:

- 28 exquisite essence per – 1400 for 50 pairs – 1 915 703g
- 5 desecnt tears – 250 for 50 pairs - 23 000g
- 8 tome of secrets – 400 for 50 pairs - 245 600g
- crafting fee - 87 516g per craft - 4 375 800g

total of : 6 569 103g

After crafting, this was what I was able to sell

1. sold for: 3 995 000 gold

2.sold for: 1 955 000 gold

3. sold for: 501 000 gold

4. sold for: 1 445 000 gold

5. sold for: 1 445 000 gold

6. sold for: 595 000 gold

Overall after Auction House fees he earned over 8 593 000g for his boots with a total profit of 2 023 897 g.

So overall profit is pretty nice and you can get a decent gear from it and at least part of is sell-able.

So all in all is crafting in Diablo 3 profitable?

Well if you want profitable crafting then you must know couple of things about items and Auction House mechanics.

You need to know what kind of items are sell-able. You do not want to sell boots with 50+ Dexterity +50 Intelligence and 10+ Additional Pick up Radius because they wont sell. You want boots with “Movement Speed”, “Resist All” plus main stat like “Intelligence”, “Dexterity”, “Strength”. If your boots have these statistics you can put them easily on sale. Otherwise they will just waste your Auction House slot.

All in all you can make some money with crafting. However you need to craft a lot of items if you want to create something good. If you think you will be able to turn a profit from crafting 10 pairs of boots then you are taking huge gamble because you got no guarantee that you will get something good.
